Next start for Rachel Alexandra still a question

A day after Rachel Alexandra had her first workout since beating the boys again in the Haskell Invitational on Aug 2, theres still no decision on when the sensational filly will run next.

Rachel Alexandra was in great shape Wednesday following her half-mile work in 50.72 seconds at Saratogas training track, assistant trainer Scott Blasi said.

The 3-year-old filly has won eight straight races, including her first win against the boys in the Preakness Stakes on May 16.

Trainer Steve Asmussen said Rachel is scheduled for a workout Monday, and several races remain under consideration: the Alabama on Aug. 22, the Travers on Aug. 29, the Personal Ensign on Aug. 30, the Woodward on Sept. 5 and the Pennsylvania Derby on Sept. 7.
