Hot n Dusty wins $70,000 feature at Del Mar

Hot n Dusty rallied from last place to win the $70,000 HUSA Purse, a mile race for older fillies and mares, at Del Mar on Wednesday.

Ridden by Alex Solis, Hot n Dusty outfinished Flashover to win by three-quarters of a length on the infield Jimmy Durante Turf Course in 1:33.99. She paid $6.80, $3.20 and $2.40 after scoring her fourth victory in 20 career outings.
Flashover paid $4.20 and $2.80, while Zardana returned $2.40 to show.

Bahama Mama was fourth in the field of five. Pams Pompallier was last.

In a companion $60,000 feature, Itsnotjustagame, ridden by Corey Nakatani, won by two lengths over On Fire in 2:14.36 and paid $4.60.
