The 5-year-old gelding took the lead shortly after the field of four left the gate and covered the 1 1/2 miles over a fast main track in 2:31.12, breaking the record of 2:31.54 set by Malibu Moonshine in 2006.
Trained by Joseph Orseno and ridden by Eddie Castro, Delosvientos won his third stakes race of the season and paid $2.80 and $2.10.
Phil the Power returned $2.80, while Sam P was 1 3/4 lengths back in third and Critical Acclaim finished fourth, another 9 lengths back.

Good Night Shirt wins steeplechase at Belmont.
Good Night Shirt beat Sermon of Love by 3 3/4 lengths Sunday in the $150,000 Lonesome Glory Hurdle Stakes at Belmont Park.
Last years champion steeplechaser, Good Night Shirt is unbeaten in three races this season. The 7-year-old gelding ridden by William Dowling patiently stalked the pace set by Red Letter Day before taking charge after clearing the 10th and final fence. The time was 4:24.88 for the 2 1/2 miles over the firm course.
Trained by Jack Fisher, Good Night Shirt improved to 9-for-19 in jump races. He earned $87,000 for owner Harold Via Jr., paying $2.80, $2.50 and $2.10 as the 2-5 favorite. Sermon of Love returned $4.90 and $3.20. Red Letter Day paid $7 to show.
Duke of Earl was fourth followed by Dark Equation, Dalucci and Best Attack. Mon Villez left the course before the final jump and was placed last.
