Kent Desormeaux rode the 5-year-old Tom Bush-skilled , which took the lead at midstretch, drew away to a two-size lead over competitor-up Classic Pack and hit the wire in 1:51.41 for 1 1/8 miles.
Banrock paid $7.80 and earned $66,600 for titleholder Nyala Farm. Classic Pack paid $10.20 to home. My Man Lars returned $6.30 to show.
Earlier on the Saratoga show, 5-year-old Latitude Forty held off You Go West Girl to exist by a neck in the $105,500 Yaddo Handicap for fillies and mares bred in New York. Javier Castellano rode the John Hertler-trained mare, which ran 1 1/8 miles in 1:55.16. Latitude Forty paid $10 and earned $64,500 for Dee Zee Stable.
You Go West Girl paid $4 to position and Rewrite, the favorite, paid $2.10 to show.
